This afternoon I watched this movie: The Guys. I didn't know it and its "dramatic" category didn't inspire me. I wanted something to caress my heart. However, among the protagonists, there was one of my favorite actresses: Sigourney Weawer. Why not? Why not see the beginning, just to see how does Sigourney play? In fact, I went well over ten minutes. The atmosphere was welcoming. I also discover that the theme was about "death". Who knows how they talk about it? |

Oh! Some days ago, I discovered this interesting documentary film about the Captains of... Star Trek!!!!
I'm a Star Trek fan and I had to watch it :-) Why am I writing a post about it here? Concussion is a film based on a true story. I write about it, here, not for its story, but for the peculiarity of the protagonist. Dr. Omalu is a pathologist, who uses respect for the bodies that come to him. It's important because the soul, or the vision they have of themselves in life, remains close to the body for a while. Usually, until after own funeral and, if it fails to go away from this third dimension, it wanders restlessly around the human being until it "opens own eyes" and begins own journey. Where it will lead own trip? It depends on own believes that he/she had when he/she passed. Help that it is willing to receive in other dimensions as not embodied can be important. This I continue to write :-) There are countless reasons why a consciousness don't begin own journey. One of these reasons can be the violence of own death. However, if the body has someone who treats it with respect, this can be helpful. And Dr. Omalu acts more. He needs information for his work. He directly asks to the body - as emboded conciousness - with respect and kindness. He takes a breath, touches the wrist and says "I need you to help me". He is actually doing a simple thing: he is giving orders to the energies to serve him ("I need you to help me"). And the energies respond. Also because Dr. Omalu is open to answers. His work is a caress to the heart (From the 2nd minute of the video, below, Will Smith explains this very well). As always, for the beauty of the workshop, always I advise it. I also believe that people with a job near "death" should be the first to attend it. Not so much to make a Dreamwalking for who is passed (because this can be done only in a few special cases. Yes, there are very specific rules to safe and not mess up own life!), But knowing exactly what is the "death" and what there is beyond this dimension, they know what to do with that body/aspect/soul is passing through.
Cloudburs is a beautiful movie and the scene of the funeral is amazing! Post offline, written on 3rd January 2016. Plots with a View, released internationally as Undertaking Betty, is a 2002 British dark and funny comedy. (Wikipedia) Post offline, written on 3rd January 2016 To lighten the theme of death, there are movies. I don't remember where I watched them first, but lately I've again watched them and I still like both: Death at a Funeral and Funeral Party. According to Italian Wikipedia: "Death at a Funeral is a 2010 film directed by Neil LaBute. It's an American remake of the British film of 2007 Funeral Party. It was wanted by actor Chris Rock. He felt in love the original and he believed that the American public should have had own version. The film is composed of a cast almost entirely African American, with Peter Dinklage who plays the same role he played in the 2007 film."
